I can’t express how amazing Dr. McKenzie is. I was referred to Dr. McKenzie by my wonderful OB/Gyn Dr. Carrington and I am so thankful for them both. This journey to surgery has been a roller coaster but I am so blessed to have had Dr. McKenzie and her amazing team! It has been months of preparation with my OB and a last minute audible called for me to visit Dr. McKenzie for my procedure; and when I say from referral to surgery date she was amazing and so knowledgeable! She knows her craft and is so passionate about it, that I was able to relax (not really lol) but I was more at peace and ease leading up to operation. I’m so grateful and blessed for Dr. McKenzie, her team, and the entire staff at AdventHealth Orlando that helped and cared for me throughout my stay.
Dr. McKenzie is sweet, genuine, passionate about her purpose and I can’t express my appreciation enough!

I am grateful and the surgery went well. There were a few unexpected changes regarding the actual surgeon. It was not Dr. McKenzie even though I met with her only prior to the surgery. However the results seem good so far. Three weeks post op. My biggest concern is that I have a lot of unanswered questions. I felt a bit dismissed. I am now trying to find answers online to questions that I hoped would be answered by Dr. McKenzie.

Dr. McKenzie and her entire staff is gracious, highly competent, and professional. I was referred to this office by my normal OBGYN who saw that I needed specialized care due to test results.
Everyone from the receptionist, nurses, surgery scheduling staff, and surgery assistants have been warm, kind, and put me at ease while I went through my process.
I would recommend this team to everyone and anyone. Dr McKenzie is above and beyond a fantastic and compassionate human, and a knowledgeable and skilled doctor who has surrounded herself with a team of the same people.
Her PA Samantha kept checking in on me and kept me informed while I was in the pre op area. I greatly appreciate how she put me at ease.
During the surgery Dr McKenzie kept my husband informed of my progress.
After surgery, one of her surgical assistants (I’m so sorry I don’t remember his name) checked on me and gave me details of how everything went. I felt extremely comfortable with their diagnosis and recommendation for treatment.

Go to her if you want your pain to be ignored. Go to her if you want your cancer to grow and grow and still be ignored. Go to her if you want to finally be a death's door from a cancer that was found at stage 1 and then ignored for almost 8 months regardless of how many Monday appointments you've gone to and complained about pain. Go to her if you want to learn that by the time you switch oncologists the new doctor tells you it's too late.

Dr. McKenzie was wonderful. I had surgery and she checked in on me so many times before and after. She was right there with me pretty much through the hole thing. She really does care about her patients. One of the best doctors I have had. I tell everyone that will listen to me how lucky I was to find her.

My partner is a patient of Dr. Mackenzie’s, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this doctor. She is incredible. I only give 4 stars and not 5 because of her staff. My partner called for two weeks to get a medication refilled. No one called her back. When she finally got through on a Thursday she was promised it would be taken care of. Without this medication she gets VERY sick. Friday came and they still had not gotten the refill and never did. Leaving my partner sick all weekend. A two time cancer survivor. Dr. Mackenzie is amazing. But her front end staff dropped the ball and it’s unacceptable.

Dr. McKenzie saved my life and I'm very grateful to her. I had a 2 week hospital stay with a long surgery but Dr. McKenzie assure me before the surgery that I was in good hands and after the surgery she assured me as well. I can't thank her enough for the compassion and caring she showed to me during this big ordeal that I went through. Words aren't enough to express my gratitude to her. Thank you!
